The 1975 recently announced their upcoming big concert at New York's Madison Square Garden on June 1, 2017. The 1975 is a British Pop Rock Band from Manchester, England. The band consists of Matthew Healy as the front man and rhythm guitarist, Ross MacDonald as bassist, George Daniel as drummer and Adam Hann as lead guitarist.

The band was formed from high school at Wilmslow and the four have played together in several small gigs since 2002. The band name "The 1975" was inspired by the back page of a Jack Kerouac poetry book that stated 1 June, The 1975.

The band has already come out with four EPs and two massive albums. Their self-titled debut album was officially released in September 2, 2013, with the help of Dirty Hit and Polydor. It topped the UK charts in September 8 of the same year. Their second album titled "I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it" was released in February 26, 2016.

The 1975 band finished its 2016 World Tour at North American Arena; a sold out event held at The Forum in Los Angeles and The Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The four musicians have been touring with their second album, which topped both the US and UK chart on its debut. They also won in a public vote at the Mercury Prize 2016 for their single "Somebody Else."

The upcoming Madison Square Garden tickets pre-sale began January 10, and concert tickets will be publicly available by January 14 at 10 AM ET. You can also visit the 1975 official website.
