Chris Hemsworth's character in "Star Trek 4," George Kirk, will be back and fans are excited about it. Before Chris Hemsworth played the role of Thor in the Avengers. George Kirk was the father of James Tiberius Kirk. Meanwhile, J. J. Abrams, the creator of Star Trek, plans on bringing back Kirk into the story. This means two generations of Captain Kirks will be present in the next Star Trek movie.

Hemsworth told MTV that he still doesn't know about the movie's story; whether it includes time travel or some other timeline. However, he is very excited and has only good things to say about it.

"I've spoken to J.J. Abrams, and he has an amazing pitch on the whole thing," said Hemsworth.

Comicbook reported that for the two generations of Captain Kirks to cross paths, time traveling and alternative universes ca be used. These two have already been used in the series therefore making it easier to utilize.

Cinema Blend reported that fans will most likely give J.J. Abrams a chance to make the structure of the story work. The original Star Trek reboot was a far greater risk taken than the upcoming movie. As Cinema Blend described it, "Sending the original series characters down an entirely different timeline was a fairly radical idea" but somehow it seemed to have worked. The new interesting idea of J.J. Abrams keep the audience interested and excited for what "Star Trek 4" will be.

"Star Trek Beyond" is about the USS Enterprise crew who were stranded in an unknown planet after the USS Enterprise was destroyed by aliens. With no means of rescue, they are forced to fight against ruthless enemies. Only a rebellious alien warrior can help them leave the planet and stop a possible galactic war.

"Star Trek Beyond" is now available on Blue-ray, DVD and digital services.
