'Stranger Things Season 2' Trailer Out Now, Premiere Date Announced

"Stranger Things" Season 2 is definitely one of the much-awaited comebacks of the year. That is why a lot of fans are excited about the release of the official trailer for the upcoming season, as well as the release date for the Netflix show. Fortunately for fans, the trailer video they have been waiting for is finally here!

Anticipation among fans of the hit Netflix series is still high as they have been left hanging from events that transpired in the first season of the show. Among the questions that were left unanswered are - "What happened to Eleven?", and "What is that thing that Will is coughing up?" among others.

The Verge reports that the show's teaser features a leitmotif of nostalgia and showcases glimpses of the gang, Eleven, Hop, and a dark and scary environment. While the teaser was not full of details on what the show has to offer, fans and viewers of the show are, nevertheless, waiting for the second season's release with keen anticipation.

According to GameSpot,"Stranger Things" Season 2 director Levy is set to direct two episodes in the second season of series, particularly Chapter three and Chapter IV of it. The upcoming season will feature nine episodes. "Stranger Things" became an instant hit due to its detailed and interesting storytelling techniques, its layered characters, and the twists and excitements that dominate the plot of the story. Each episode is something to look forward to for the fans and viewers of the show. The cliffhanger of the season finale makes the fans' anticipation higher than ever, all the more.

It was November of last year when "Stranger Things" producer, Shawn Levy, explained that the plot of the hit series' Season 2 will revolve around the main characters coming to terms with the events that unfolded on Season 1. He divulged the fact that Will Byers is in that Upside Down for a while and that Season 2 will revolve around the will to come back to normalcy in Hawkins, in his family and with his group of friends. Levy also hinted on the struggles and the impossibility of turning his life back to normal ways.

Matt and Ross Duffer said that the second season of the popular series will definitely entertain fans and viewers for its "darker and weirder" tone than the first season. It has been confirmed by the show's producers that Millie Bobby Brown's character, "Eleven," is set for a comeback in the upcoming season of the show. As the trailer was released, the official release date of "Stranger Things" Season 2 was also revealed. It is set to be available on Netflix on Halloween 2017.
