Paparazzi have tirelessly fueled the rumors about a long-standing feud between "The Vampire Diaries" actresses Nikki Reed and Nina Dobrev, who were both involved with Ian Somerhalder. Now, all three celebs have recently been spotted having dinner together, finally putting an end to the rumors.

According to US Magazine, actor Ian Somerhalder posted a photo of him along with his wife Nikki Reed and Nina Dobrev, his "The Vampire Diaries" co-star and ex-girlfriend. The actor stated that although rumors of a feud between the two women were rampant, "it's all 'love' between the two actresses."

The caption for Somerhalder's Instagram post read, "Chilling with these two... After years of websites pretending these two badass ladies knew each other well and baseless, false information of back stabbing and hatred from low-brow websites filled the minds and hearts of fans... They finally were able to get together for their first real dinner. Let's stop spreading hate everyone, there's already too much of that right now in our world. Join in on the love. Only love here- always has been always will be. Media companies preying on the passion from vulnerable and or impressionable minds of fans to sell advertising through click-through traffic is a disease in our society. It's poisonous. Let's finish this series with respect and kindness and continue that in our lives. I think it's time. What do [you] think?"

The post went live on the actor's Instagram account earlier this week. It is possible that the photo was "taken in Atlanta, where 'The Vampire Diaries' films." Dobrev has actively been sharing photos "while on location" after it was revealed that she will be reprising her role as Elena Gilbert for the show's finale.

Dobrev also shared her own photo from the dinner, and her short but sweet caption read, "Can't believe how time flies. Farewell dinner with team Somereed! So good catching up with these goofballs. All ❤."

In 2015, the actress left the show during "The Vampire Diaries'' Season 6, per Mirror Online. Dobrev and Somerhalder met while filming the show and were a couple for more than three years. The couple broke up in May 2013, and in 2014 Somerhalder moved in with Reed.
