OnePlus 5 Latest News: Upcoming Flagship Device Will Have QHD & Snapdragon 835
Keisuke AkioOnePlus 5 reportedly will be the first phone ever to have a combo not seen on other flagship devices. According to a recent report, the upcoming flagship smartphone will have the QHD display and the Snapdragon 835 combo.
Later this year, OnePlus 5 is expected to roll out. Looking to the viewpoint of the device with good performance and budget-friendly price, this could be much impressive. It is said that OnePlus is about to take a step higher on its latest flagship and this time it is more on the perspective of aesthetic, according to Yahoo.
According to Wccftech, when OnePlus 1 released in the market, it was powered by a Snapdragon 801. It only has a 1080p display. However, on the upcoming OnePlus 5, it might use a QHD panel. This could set the device in a higher notch above its predecessors. It is yet to be confirmed if OnePlus 5 will be using the OLED but according to PCpop, the said device will have a 2K display partnered by Snapdragon 835 chipset.
PC Advisor reported that among its additional features, it is said to have an 8GB RAM but anticipation rises that it will only have a 6GB RAM. This is for the previous mishap that it is not quite wise to invest more on hardware and paying less attention to the software.
It was also rumored that OnePlus 5 will have a 7mm thickness. This could mean that the manufacturer will incorporate a 3,000mAh battery with it. This approach was already done by OnePlus on the third device in the series and somehow gathered negative feedback for it made the battery life compromise with the outside design.
OnePlus 3T used a 3,400mAh battery and powered by Snapdragon 821 but it had the same body and dimension as what OnePlus 3 had. Given that the Snapdragon 835 will help the battery capacity of OnePlus 5 but it will severely alter its usage.
