Samsung Galaxy S3 devices with Verizon branding were waiting for Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for a long time. However, when the much-awaited firmware update arrived, it came with a serious issue related to the LTE network connectivity.

"Latest Samsung i535 Galaxy S3 device software update was pushed to devices between 5/24 -6/6 has been rescinded due to problems which cause poor to no signal. The software update which caused problems is Baseband version i535VRBLMD3 and Build number JZO54K I535VRBMD3. Although the update has been pulled by Verizon, the company has not given any particular timeframe within which it is going to solve the issue.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 users who have already installed the updated firmware will have to suffer with the issue until a new firmware is pushed from Verizon solving the issue.
Meanwhile, for some affected users, going to Setting>More Networks> Mobile Networks and then changing it from Global to LTE/CDMA, has resolved the issue. However, If this doesn't work iwork you, you want to contact Verizon and ask for a replacement device.
Verizon pushed the VRBMD3 firmware update to its Samsung Galaxy S3 devices with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean late last month. The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean came with some amazing features such as buttery smooth performance because of the Project Butter, full User Interface revamp, TouchWiz Nature UX, Samsung's S Cloud services, improved Camera features, new Lockscreen with many customization options, new features like Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up Play, new Widgets, 2 Home screen modes, new Notification Bar with more notification toggles and Google Now.
However, many users started experiencing weaker or no signal within some days of installing the new firmware update. Several of them also started posting their problems on Verizon's support page.
