Lenovo ThinkPad 10 business tablet: Specs, features, accessories, pricing & availability
Alexandra BurlacuLenovo has just announced its latest ThinkPad 10 tablet running Microsoft's Windows 8, boasting high-end specs and features to support business users.
The new ThinkPad 10 is the company's latest 10-inch premium multimode business slate, allowing for a full PC experience without compromising on productivity or portability.
Moreover, the Lenovo ThinkPad 10 comes with a line of accessories specifically designed to boost the productivity of the mobile worker. Such accessories include a cover for extra protection, as well as a couple of keyboard options so that users can turn the tablet into a full ThinkPad laptop.
Hardware Specs
The new Lenovo ThinkPad 10 packs an Intel Atom Z3795 quad-core processor with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM, while storage options include 51B, 64GB, or 128GB. It sports a 10.1 IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Other specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter, and a battery life of up to 10 hours of usage. Connectivity options consist of Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPA+ (optional), microHDMI, USB 2.0, and microSD card slot. On the software side, the ThinkPad 10 runs Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 Pro.

"Our new ThinkPad 10 tablet marries business optimized features with a unique multimode design to offer an exceptional computing experience that allows users to work, play and create in virtually any environment. ThinkPad 10 is engineered for quality you can touch and measure and is designed to adapt to be what you need, when you need it."
To further maximize what the ThinkPad 10 has to offer, Lenovo is also providing neat keyboard accessories to take full advantage of it. One is an "Ultrabook" laptop dock that can turn the tablet into a laptop, while the other is a portfolio case with flat keys, reminiscent of the Touch Cover of the Surface tablet. The latter two accessories will become available in the summer. The ThinkPad 10, meanwhile, will make its debut in June and will be available for a $599 starting price.
