Samsung Galaxy Tab S event livestream: When and where to watch the Galaxy Premiere 2014
Alexandra BurlacuSamsung will be live streaming its upcoming Galaxy Premiere 2014 event on June 12, where it is expected to unveil its new Galaxy Tab S lineup.
The upcoming Galaxy Tab S tablets have leaked extensively as of late and they are widely expected to debut at Samsung's big event in just a couple of days. The Galaxy Tab S lineup will consist of two models, which will launch as the first Samsung tablets to boast AMOLED displays.
While nothing is official at this point, recent leaks have revealed pretty much all there is to know about the Galaxy Tab S slates. The smaller model will have an 8.4-inch display, while the larger version will come with a 10.5-inch screen. As previously mentioned, both tablets will have AMOLED displays sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
Other purported specs gracing the Galaxy Tab S lineup include an octa-core Samsung Exynos 5420 processor paired with a hefty 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage capacity, and microSD card support for additional memory. Both models will reportedly feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front shooter.
The two slates are expected to launch in colorful options, as Samsung's invite to the Galaxy Premiere 2014 event touts "Tab into color." The Galaxy Tab S tablets will add to Samsung's lineup of high-end slates, proving the company's commitment to focus more of its efforts on tablets this year.
Currently there is no word on how much the Galaxy Tab S range of tablets will cost, but the slates are expected to go on sale the day after their unveiling, i.e. on Friday, June 13.
If you're eager to learn all about the new Galaxy Tab S straight from the source as soon as it happens, you can watch the whole thing even if you can't physically attend the event. The Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014 takes place this Thursday, June 10, at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, at 7pm local time.
For those of you who can't attend, however, Samsung has just announced that it will be live-streaming the whole event so that everyone can enjoy the latest news. The Livestream of the event will be available on June 12, 19:00 EDT, on Samsung Tomorrow at this link or the company's YouTube channel. In the meantime, check out the latest trailer below.
