Apple Store Gift Cards worth up to $100 with new Back to School Promotion
Alexandra BurlacuApple is now offering Apple Store gift cards worth up to $100 to eligible educational purchasers who get a new iDevice as part of its Back to School Promotion.
More specifically, qualified educational purchasers who buy a new Mac will get an Apple Store gift card of $100, while those who purchase an iPhone or an iPad will get $50 in credit.
It's also worth pointing out that so far Apple has usually offered iTunes, App Store, or iBookstore gift cards, but this new Back to School Promotion marks the very first time the company is giving out more consistent Apple Store gift cards with the purchases.
"Get a $100 Apple Store Gift Card when you buy a Mac for college. Or a $50 gift card when you buy an iPad or iPhone. You'll also save on a Mac or iPad with education pricing," Apple touts.
The new Back to School Promotion from Apple covers a slew of iDevices: all Mac machines except for the Mac Mini, as well as all iPads (iPad Mini, iPad Mini with Retina display, iPad Air, fourth-generation iPad) and the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 5S. You can find all prerequisites and eligibility requirements for this promotion at this link (PDF), where Apple lists its full terms and conditions.
Apple's devices may not be the most accessible ones on the market, but their popularity continues to soar and the company enjoys a loyal fan base. These new gift cards should help boost sales of Macs, iPads, and iPhones as part of Apple's new Back to School Promotion, which is expected to be available in several regions.
So far, Apple has only kicked off its new Back to School Promotion in the U.S., starting now and running through Sept. 9. Nevertheless, the program is expected to become available in other countries as well, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
We'll keep you up to date as soon as more details become available regarding the program's extended availability worldwide. In the meantime, U.S. customers can already take advantage of the new Back to School Promotion from Apple.
