Moto 360 smartwatch leaks in new set of images – Check it out

The Moto 360 has leaked in a batch of new images, giving us a glimpse at what the upcoming Android wear-powered smartwatch will look like.

Google officially launched its new Android Wear OS for wearable gadgets at its I/O 2014 developer conference, with the LG G watch and Samsung Gear Live as its launch vehicles. The Moto 360 was also a part of the presentation, but while Samsung and LG's gadgets have already hit the market, Motorola's smartwatch was set to debut at a later time.

The upcoming smartwatch from Motorola is one of the hottest devices to be released this year, but although the smartwatch is official, it's still shrouded in mystery. While we still don't know just what specifications the Moto 360 will pack, a new set of images have now surfaced to give us a better look at the device.

Well-known and trusted tipster evleaks has posted a number of images that show the Moto 360 at various angles, aiming to paint a clear picture of what to expect. What the new photos don't show, however, is the gadget's rear side, which means that it still remains unclear whether it will support wireless charging or not.

Unlike the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live, which come with rectangular form factors, the Moto 360 is round-shaped to make it look more like a traditional watch. The Moto 360 is expected to launch soon and will reportedly be more expensive than the LG G Watch, but no specific price tag has leaked so far.

Previous rumors have indicated that the Moto 360 will be made of plastic, but the newly-leaked images show otherwise. The smartwatch is metallic, just as Motorola said a few months back, but everything else remains shrouded in mystery.

The wearable device market is increasingly gaining momentum and the Moto 360 is among the most highly-anticipated smartwatches of this year, alongside Apple's unannounced iWatch. Recent whispers, however, have suggested that the iWatch may not make its debut until 2015. If this turns out to be accurate, the Moto 360 might just be the hottest wearable of 2014.

Check out the new set of Moto 360 photos from evleaks in the slideshow above, but keep in mind that these are not official images from Motorola. That doesn't mean they may not be accurate, but they're no guarantee either that the device will look exactly like this.
