Apple announces iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus availability in 36 more countries/territories this month

The new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have already stirred lots of interest worldwide and proved to be in great demand so far, and more countries will get the latest Apple smartphones soon enough. The company had already confirmed that its new-generation iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will make their commercial debut in China on Oct. 17, and now it has offered more availability details.
"Apple today announced that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the biggest advancements in iPhone history, will arrive in 36 additional countries and territories across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa by the end of October," reads a company press release on Monday, Oct. 13. "iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in a total of 69 countries and territories by the end of the month and are on track to be available in more than 115 countries by the end of the year, marking the fastest iPhone rollout ever."

The new-generation iPhones sport notable improvements on all fronts compared to their predecessors, and Apple has finally moved toward larger screens: the iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7-inch display, while the iPhone 6 Plus boasts a massive 5.5-inch screen.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus seem to be in great demand already, and are expected to be among the hottest devices on the market. Not too long ago, Apple revealed that it had sold a record 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units in their opening weekend, when the handsets became available in the U.S. and other countries. The new iPhones' launch in China this upcoming weekend is also expected to be record-breaking, and a wider release worldwide should make the devices even more popular.
As a reminder, the iPhone 6 comes in gold, silver, or space gray color options, and is available in the U.S. in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB configurations for $199, $299, and $399, respectively, with a two-year contract. The iPhone 6 Plus comes in the same color options and the same internal storage configurations, with a retail price of $299 for the 16GB model, $399 for the 64GB variant, and $499 for the 128GB version, with a two-year contract.
