Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet teaser confirms MWC 2015 debut on March 2
Alexandra BurlacuSony is again teasing its upcoming Xperia Z4 Tablet ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 unveiling, hinting at an ultra-thin slate.
The MWC 2015 is just a few short days away, and a number of exciting devices are expected to make their official debut at the show. Several companies have already started teasing their latest and greatest devices ahead of the MWC, and Sony has now joined the fray.
Just the other day, we reported that Sony had posted a teaser image for its Xperia Z4 Tablet on its Xperia Lounge application, but removed the post shortly after. That leak may have been accidental, but the company is now back with a new teaser that seems intentional, showing a sleek new tablet suitable for one-handed use.
"Thinner. Lighter. Brighter. All will be revealed on 02.03.15," touts the tagline of the new teaser image posted on the Sony Xperia Google+ account.
This means that Sony is indeed gearing up to unveil its next-generation flagship tablet next week, on March 2, at the Mobile World Congress.
The teaser doesn't reveal any information regarding the Xperia Z4 Tablet's specifications, features, price, or commercial release, but it should all become clear early next week.
Rumors so far indicated that the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet will boast a 2K display and a number of notable improvements over its predecessor, but all specs remain in the rumor state at this point.
When it comes to the highly-anticipated Xperia Z4 handset, meanwhile, Sony has remained very quiet. The company posted no teasers for a new flagship smartphone, and it may plan to unveil it at a later date. Recent reports also claimed that the Sony Xperia Z4 smartphone will not make an appearance at the MWC 2015.
Nevertheless, Sony has now confirmed that it will unveil at least one new exciting device at the MWC 2015, as the Xperia Z4 Tablet will make its official debut on Monday, March 2. We'll be covering Sony's MWC event and bring you the latest news as soon as they become available, so make sure to check back for more information shortly.
