The screen comes with an Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection and a capacitive multitouch 5 points. The mobile phone is 8.5mm thick and has an outer rim of 4.75mm. The latest device from Gionee will run Amigo 3.1, which is based on Android 5.1 on a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor.

It has a RAM of 3GB and an internal storage of 32GB, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. It also comes with a specially designed Music Player.

This handheld device of Gionee supports Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB in terms of connectivity. Marathon M5 Lite is being powered by a 4000mAh Li-Po battery that Gionee claims to have a standby time of 450 hours and talk time of 32.7 hours.

It also features a smart power consumption system that can provide up to three hours of talk time and 32 hours of standby time even if the battery life left is only five percent. Gionee's latest mobile phone also has fast-charging capabilities. It is capable of reverse charging, so the phone can be used as a power bank to charge other devices.

The device will be available at leading retail outlets and on Snapdeal's online space for a price of ₹12,999 INR. The dual-SIM-enabled phone features a metallic unibody design, with narrow bezel and premium finishing. The stylish smartphone, however, comes in only one colour variant, which is gold.
