"Attack on Titan" fans must be surprised to know that a sequel might be underway anytime soon. Season 2 is rumored to adapt some storylines from "Clash of Titans" and "Uprising Acres."

According to Parent Herald, the rumor mill was initiated by Twitter user Shonen_lord, after allegedly posted that the second season is finally coming. But despite the hype, Wit Studios has not issued an official statement yet.

As per report, fans have been upset to learn that another series, "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" has been prioritized than the rumored series. But then, they stated that it does not mean the sequel will be forgotten.

Contrary to what the viewers might anticipate, the source went on to guess that Season 2 will have a completely different turn of the storyline rather than continuing what was left in the first season. However, same as the aforementioned, these aren't confirmed as well.

And while the information about the release date and the people behind the said sequel is still under wraps, fans can only hope that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will surpass the success of the previous one.

In other news, the spoilers about the manga version "Shingeki No Kyojin" Chapter 81 is already out. According to Yibada, the upcoming chapter could be the "most epic" release from Hajime Isayama.

Chapter 81 entitled as "Promise" will reportedly show the events right after commander Erwin Smith initiated a "suicide mission," with Lavi Ackerman having the most close up head to head with The Beast Titan. His fate in fighting the villain will be revealed in the next chapter.

Meanwhile, it has been reported as well that the commander, along with Marlowe Sand might die on this release. And finally, Armin will regain his consciousness from a long mental block and the brain of the Survey cops will draft a plan to rescue his friend, Eren, in order to "make or break the plan."
