According to latest rumors, Annaleigh Ashford and her husband, actor Joe Tapper are expecting a baby boy this fall. They will welcome their first child to this world in early September and are ecstatic about the news.

"We are so excited to be having a little boy," Ashford tells People. "Now we'll finally have a place to put all of Joe's St. Louis Cardinals memorabilia." The new addition to the family will join Joe, Annaleigh and their pup, Gracie.

Ashford and Tapper are married since 2013 and it is plain to see that Annaleigh found her Prince Charming as soon as she met him. In an interview with The New York Times following their nuptials, she said about her views on love, "I always knew I wasn't going to waste my time with someone who wasn't amazing. What's the point?"

"Joe has really magical eyes and an amazing face," Ashford said. "Right away, he sparkled and smiled at me. When we are away from each other for a long time, I can always see his eyes."

Annaleigh Ashford will be adding a maternal role to her already impressive resume. She has starred in the famous Masters of Sex, Betty DiMello and made her film debut in "Sex and the City: The Movie".

The actress is best known for her remarkable work on stage and starred in many musicals, winning her first Tony Award for the role of "Lauren" in "Kinky Boots". Most recently, the actress starred in "Sylvia" an A.R. Gurney production opposite Matthew Broderick.

She has won several Tony Awards and recently won the prestigious award for her role in "You Can't Take It with You." Ashford is also scheduled to play tapping groupie Columbia FOX TV's adaptation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show this fall.

Thus, it seems that congratulations are in the way for the happily married couple.
