Good news awaits the eager fans of Sony gaming console PlayStation 4.5 NEO. According to latest reports the much - awaited console might come in September 2016.

Innelec Multimedia, a French video game distributor, has mentioned that the gaming console will be arriving sometime around September, according to Ecumenical News.

The launch date was accidentally revealed, as the company's FY2016 report stated that the "Neo 4K" is set to arrive during the first half of Innolec's financial year. Although Innolec immediately released a statement regarding the release date of PlayStation Neo.

"Innelec denies any official information about the launch of a PS4K Neo," the company said. "It is possible that during the 2016/2017 fiscal developments exist on the current PS4 [but] for the moment we have no information about the nature of them."

Notably, PlayStation 4.5 will reportedly support the 4K gaming, and will be more powerful than its predecessors with its new GPU, CPU and RAM, although Sony is yet to reveal a specific set of specs for the newest console.

The gaming console will also have two modes - the "base" mode and the "NEO" mode. In "NEO" mode, players can take advantage of the specific features of this new version.

Additionally, Microsoft's Xbox One.5, according to reports from PC Games Hardware, will reportedly rival the latest version of PlayStation.

Meanwhile, Sony, has not revealed any statement after Innolec's leaks. However, Innolec's subsequent statement has been quite enlightening, where the company has tried to deny their own mistakes.

PlayStation 4.5 is believed to run on better hardware with a CPU of 8 Jaguar Cores at 2.1 GHz. Its GPU is also said to have an improved AMD GCN, with 36 CUs at 911 MHz. Its 8 GB GDDR5 memory reportedly has a speed of 218 GB/s, and is rumored to be released in September 2016.
