Blizzard's new multiplayer and first-person shooter video game, "Overwatch" will soon face some changes for its characters such as, McCree, Reaper and D.Va.

According to the game's official forum site, these characters have been hand-picked by its designers to address gamers' concerns about their abilities.

It was reported that they are planning on reducing McCree's damage and ability to eliminate many characters with a single flash-bang fan as well as his stun skill.

Principal designer of Blizzard, Geoff Goodman said that, "It's probably a bit too good at dealing damage to higher health targets such as Tanks and barriers," reported by IGN.

"I don't have any concrete changes yet, but I'm going to be testing some things internally to see how he play," he added.

Furthermore, Goodman said that McCree's flash bang ability will retain while the hammer combo attack will be nerfed.

"McCree's flashbang plays an important role in being a strong option against very fast/agile teams Tracerso/Genjis or etc.," according to GameSpot. "It is also a nice tool to prevent close range devastating abilities and ultimates such as Reaper's Death Blossom."

While it has been only a week since "Overwatch" has been released on May 24, some gamers have already complained that some characters are overpowered. Thus, Blizzard's developers have been keeping an eye on every detail and will make changes by later this month to balance the gameplay experience.

Other characters in the game that will receive skill changes will be D.Va, a few enhancements will be applied to make her advantageous other than just mech explosions. In the next update, Reaper will also have an ability to identify whether an ally or an enemy is teleporting near their vicinity, according to iDigitalTimes.

On the other hand, GameSpot spoke with the game's lead software engineer, Rowan Hamilton and revealed that Blizzard is preparing on enhancing its algorithm that will decide who can acquire the Play of the Game after every match.

Although "Overwatch" characters such as Mccree, Reapeer and D.Va skills will change, the game has been hailed as the fastest selling game and topped the UK sales report since its debut for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
