Eve CesistaAndroid phones have been making news with exciting updates on the much-anticipated arrival of OnePlus 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and Gear Fit2, Huawei Nexus, and Mi Band 2.
To start off, Samsung is about to unleash two of its newest products, the Galaxy Note 7 and the Gear Fit2. The Galaxy Note 7/6 will reporedly have an Edge variant.
According to XDA Developers, Samsung might continue developing the Edge series because a lot of consumers loved it. The upcoming device will also innovate its Stylus, and the South Korean company is rumored to include a USB Type-C port to the device, pertaining to the leaked images on the website.
Meanwhile, the outlet stated that the device is yet to be announced in two months time but Samsung will have to confirm it first. On the other hand, they are also gearing up for another gadget, the Gear Fit 2.
As per Android Authority, the fitness tracker has been designed thoroughly because the public has waited two years before Samsung unveils it. So what are the features of this exciting product?
It has a 1.5-inch 216 x 432 curved Super AMOLED display and added an IP68 rating, heart rate sensor, built-in GPS, Barometer, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. More than that, it can also be activated as a music player. The device will be out on June 10 with a price tag of $180.
Meanwhile, another fitness product is about to be launch soon and is rumored to rival the Gear Fit2. According to Tech Times, Xiaomi Mi Band 2 has a 0.42-inch OLED display, Bluetooth 4.0, and other interesting features for only $23.
For the One Plus 3, The Indian Express revealed that the product listing will have 6 variants and 6GB RAM. It will be launch on June 14 via VR release with a rumored price of $369.
The website reveals that the upcoming device will have a 5.5-nch full HD screen and will be run by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. Other features include 16MP back camera and 8MP selfie cam, front fingerprint scanner along with Oxygen OS base on Android 6.0.
Lastly, it has been clarified by another XDA Developers article that Huawei might not launch a new Nexus phone this year. But then, as stated by Huawei's Consumer Business Group General Manager in South Africa Charlene Mulinall: "We're doing the Nexus again this year, by the way."
