Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo Update: ‘Descendants of The Sun’ Actors To Reunite Again
Shilpa ChakravortyThe two stars from the popular Korean TV series "Descendants of The Sun" are all set to reunite at one of their fan meetings in China, according to sources of the Korean entertainment industry.
Notably, actress Song Hye Kyo will appear in actor Song Joong Ki's fan meet in Chengdu, the capital of China's Siachun province, as a special guest on June 17, reported Yonhap News Agency.
The insanely popular TV series of KBS 2TV tells the story of army Captain Yoo Si - Jin and Doctor Kang Mo-yeon in the fictional war - torn country of Uruk.
Meanwhile, the reunion of the famous couple has been confirmed by the Siachun Province's Agency for Cultural Affairs, according to International Business Times.
The news has been confirmed on the agency's official website. "We fully allow the appearance of Song Hye-kyo during the event," the post mentioned. "Further permission will be made based on the article 'Korean celebrity Song Joong-ki's entertainment activities in Sichuan.'"
Notably, the Chengdu edition of Song Joong Ki's Asia Tour Fan Meeting, which stars the Song - Song pair will be held on June 17, 2016. It will be followed by a Taiwan fan meet on June 25 at Taipei.
The meet and greet in Hong Kong is scheduled on June 11.
