As the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 event will be held from June 14 to 16, Sony fans have been widely anticipating what the company has in store for them at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The company revealed that they will host a press conference on June 13 6 p.m. of PDT or June 14 at 2 a.m. of BST or CET. It will be held at Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall, which is few minutes away from the Convention Center. Also, a live stream will be broadcasted through PlayStation PS4 consoles, according to VG247.

Prior to the event day, rumors and speculations are already going around the Internet on what to expect from the company and their upcoming games.

Although the details for the upcoming E3 2016 event hasn't been confirmed, it was speculated that the company will be introducing PlayStation VR as the main highlight at the conference. Also, a possible announcement and in-depth information may be spilled with regards to rumored upgraded version of PS4, reported by GameSpot.

It was reported that the company's goal is to increase the revenue sales for their PSVR for this upcoming holiday season. As of the moment the gadget sells for $399 and there are 36 million units ready to be shipped when its launching date arrives in October.

Fans also think that the PSVR will take on a huge role during the company's briefing session together with the rumored PlayStation Neo. The new and enhanced console was reported to be compatible with PSVR along with 4K display functionality, according to USgamer.

Furthermore, gamers are looking forward to hear news about "Final Fantasy VII remake," "Detroit: Become Human," "The Last Guardian," according to The Independent.

Meanwhile, Indie games tagged as "indie AAA" like "Look out for Wild," "Abzu" and "Rime" will also be showcased at the conference. Also, more games from the company like "Horizon: Zero Dawn" and "Dreams" will be present as well, according to Releases.

There may be a lot of things that will happen on E3 2016 conference from Sony, however, fans may only know whether these rumors are true or not when June 13 comes.
