Will the fans finally see a Walt and Vic love affair in "Longmire" Season 5? Well, it certainly appears so. Rumor has it that Walt will finally fall for Vic after some time being together.

According to Game N Guide, their love story will be plausible if the upcoming season will continue the plot of Craig Johnson's tome. But it may not come easy because Donna, played by Ally Walker returns to Season 5.

On the other hand, Walt and Vic's romance may not be possible because he is obliged to support the son of Donna, he is so much older for Vic, and being together is quite unsuitable. However, these speculations are not proven yet so it could just be treated with a grain of salt.

In other news, Christian Today revealed that new character will be setting their foot into the highly-anticipated series. As per report, Dylan Walsh will be Walt's new rival, Shane Muldoon, who is a mastermind of several crimes. Also, Louis Herthum was also confirmed to reprise his role as Omar who is expected to be a big help for Walt.

It has also been reported that Season 5 might be the finale for "Longmire." But to ease the worry, Variety previously revealed that the show was acquired by Netflix from A&E for the fifth season. 

Moreover, Carter Matt reported that Lou Diamond Phillips allegedly debunked the hearsays on Twitter.The website also believes that the show has an "amazing fan base," plus filming is very convenient to each of the production team members.

"Longmire" casts include Robert Taylor as Sheriff Walt, Lou Diamond Philipps as Henry Standing Bear, Katee Sackhoff as Vic, Cassidy Freeman as Cady Longmire, Adam Bartley as The Ferge, among others.
