Apple unveiled two of its newest operating systems during the keynote speech at WWDC 2016 held on June 13 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The Cupertino-based company revealed the iOS 10 and the MacOS Sierra.

The latest updates were dubbed as the "most ambitious, most innovation, and most advanced" above all its predecessors. Apple's Senior VP of Software Engineering Craig Federighi presented the products.

The highlights for the iOS includes the updates for Siri, redesigned Apple Music, News, and Maps Apps, Home App integrated with HomeKit, and new features such as Memories and Raise to Wake.

"iOS 10 is our biggest release ever, with delightful new ways to express yourself in Messages, a native app for Home automation and beautifully redesigned apps for Music, Maps, and News that are more intuitive and more powerful, making everything you love about your iPhone and iPad even better," the VP stated.

On the other hand, Siri is also introduced in MacOS Sierra. This means that the virtual assistant will now be available in eligible Macbook and iMac products.

More than that, other features include the ability to store in iCloud, Picture in Picture On, universal clipboards, stronger encryption in Apple Pay for protection, and Memories as well.

"With macOS Sierra, you can get information, find files and multitask using Siri, access your Desktop and Documents from anywhere, copy and paste between Macs and iOS devices, and rediscover precious memories in Photos," Federighi added.

With these big announcements, loyal Apple fans are still disappointed that there are no revelations regarding its products like MacBook Pro 2016. But blogger Martin Hajek speculated that the product might indicate an OLED display.
