iPhone 7 Might Feature Lightning Cable Assembly With OLED Display
Dheeraj RWith all the rumors about the upcoming iPhone 7 trending all over the internet, few reports have emerged stating that the new device from Apple will feature lightning cable assembly and OLED display. The reports suggest that the lightning cables hint at the possibility that the smartphone would feature 3.5 mm audio jack slot.
Earlier, Weibo reported that the much-awaited iPhone 7 would drop the 3.55 mm audio jack feature and will replace it with the wireless functionalities. But, the recently leaked images on the website have teased that the smartphone would consist of the audio specs. The OLED display is expected to provide improved quality and battery life to the smartphone.
Further, there are reports that the iPhone 7 is expected to showcase a dual SIM card slot with the USB Type-C port for fast data transfer. Engadget claimed that the new Apple smartphone would sport a 5.5-inch display screen with 256 GB expandable storage option.
Also, the iPhone 7 is expected to go under major design changes, one of them being the no home screen button. The touch-sensitive home button is rumored to provide better user experience to the iPhone 7 customers. IT Pro reported that the Apple device might also consist of two speakers and antennas shifted to the top and bottom.
The iPhone 7 is also expected to introduce new features like wireless charging support, upgraded camera, dust and water-proof design and improvised 7.04watt-hour model battery, reported Wall Street Journal. In addition, the new smartphone is expected to be made available in a new deep blue color apart from the gold and space gray options.
