Prior to "Suicide Squad" release date, rumors about a possible movie spin-off for the character Harley Quinn are circulating the Internet.

Speculations have relayed that the persona which Margot Robbie is portraying will have its own movie in the future while, her partner Joker will be making an appearance in the next solo Batman film.

In May, Hollywood Reporter wrote that Warner Bros. was allegedly taking into consideration of making a spin-off for the DC Entertainment female villain, Harley Quinn. However, the company revealed that the movie will not only focus on her alone, instead will feature all female heroes and baddies.

The rumored project will be produced by actress, Margot Robbie and seems to scream girl power as it will also have a female writer. Although the company didn't share many details about it, the name such as Poison Ivy, Birds of Prey and Batgirl were speculated to be part of the cast.

Meanwhile, Director David Ayer expressed his appreciation with regards to Robbie's performance and acting for the villain in "Suicide Squad."

During Ayer's interview with Vogue, he said "a lot of heavy lifting for an actor. But she's a tough girl," according to Australia Network News.

"And she's incredibly smart and mature beyond her years. She has ridiculous depth. She has never been coddled. She is very physically courageous. The things she was doing herself as far as stunts, you wouldn't believe. There's only a handful of actors who do that sort of work themselves," as it continued.

Robbie was reportedly focused on the film that when she got the role, she had herself really into the comics to learn more about the character. Thus, the knowledge she had of the character had helped her deliver a good performance for the audience.

While the talks of having a solo movie for Joker's sidekick and girlfriend made her fans excited for what's in store for them, as of the moment they may witness Robbie as Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad" on Aug. 5.
