The top-rated characters of the popular first-person shooter game, "Overwatch" are rumored to be soon updated with the new nerfs. Blizzard Entertainment game is known for its balanced gameplay, but recent reports suggested that few of the superhero characters are overpowered and need to be fixed.

Gadget Gestures reported that the characters who would possibly receive nerfs of the game patch for "Overwatch" are Mei, Bastion, and Symmetra. The reports suggested that the problems related to the dominance of these game characters would be solved with the help of nerfs.

Mei's over-performing fighting kit is expected to be improvised in the upcoming patch. Mashable reported that Mei's secondary fire is more effective than needed, where she tries to take down enemies from a distance. The reports tease that Mei also needs nerfs in areas like trades and security kills.

The main area where Mei needs repairs is her Endothermic Blaster, which flash freezes her targets. This skill can be easily negated by the opponent players with the help of Mei's Cryo-Freeze weapon. US Battle Forums reported that these drawbacks in Mei's character help the enemies to predict her moves and thus plan their attack.

Bastion is currently the unassailable character in the "Overwatch" shooting video game. PC Gamer reported that the much-awaited game patch would make Bastion more vulnerable to enemies' attacks with a possible armor reduction and a decrease in turret damage.

Further, there are reports that the Bastion will also receive nerfs in his sentry mode, which is expected to slightly jeopardize his instant weapons deployment mode.  Meanwhile, Game Rant reported that Symmetra faces problems in areas like map presence and negation of re-spawn penalties. These defects don't allow Symmetra to consistently access different zones at the same time.

It is also being rumored that Symmetra's teleporter would also receive changes. The reports suggest that the latest patch from the developers will try to fix the teleporter problem i.e. they will implement a hard limit on how long the machine can be active.

On the other hand, Segment Next reported that the most loved character from "Overwatch," Torbjörn, is expected to receive a total makeover with the new game patches. Torbjörn will be receiving nerfs related to the overall win rate scale adjustment. This would be a win-win situation for the PS4 and Xbox One players, who find it difficult to win a game because of his auto-turrets placing capability.

With the upcoming "Overwatch" nerfs, Torbjörn's turrets will destroy other characters with less precise control i.e. with 30 percent damage reduction in the turrets.  This change is expected to improve the overall gaming experience for the Xbox One and PS4 players.
