'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location': Location Rumors, New Animatronics, And What We Know So Far
Jazz RosinScott Cawthon's horror game franchise is getting a new sequel soon. "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" will be out in autumn, but fans of the game have come up with tons of theories and speculations about the game.
Here's what we know about "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" so far.
Where is the Sister Location?
Design and Trend has listed a possible locations for "Five Nights at Freddy's" new title, from an underground circus area to a safety bunker. An underground speculation might be the closest match, as the trailer clearly mentioned "deep below ground" on its tagline.
According to a post on the FNAF Wiki discussion page, many also believe that the "Sister Location" mentioned in the third game is actually Fredbear's Family Diner, and there might possibly be an elevator that leads to the underground area of the restaurant.
In another thread, some fans think that the main protagonist was either paid to go underground or accidentally stumbled upon the elevator.
Is Afton Robotics Underneath Fredbear's?
In another Reddit post, it has been pointed out that according to the "Five Nights at Freddy's" novel "Silver Eyes," William Afton, owner of Afton Robotics and also referred to as Purple Man, went missing in 1985.
It could be that Afton was declared dead after going missing for seven years, in the year when the first "Five Nights at Freddy's" game has possibly taken place.
It is possible that Fazbear Entertainment declared Afton as legally dead and took possession of the old Fredbear building, which possibly houses the factory underneath.
The old Fredbear building may be the sister location that the person on the phone in "Five Nights at Freddy's" is referring to.
New Animatronics?
Design and Trend speculated that the main animatronic's name is Ennard, based on the copyright catalog Scott Cawthon himself filed last month.
A new animatronic was introduced on the official website, along with the tagline "You will find a little of me in every body."
Connecting the fact that "every body" is written as two words and not one, and the word play on the word "innards," it has been speculated that Ennard will be the name of the animatronic that was posted on the teaser trailer.
Scott Cawthon himself took went to Reddit to post his thoughts on the leak.
"No worries guys. The characters needed to be copyrighted, and I knew this would get out. Have fun speculating! Ha ha!" the "Five Nights at Freddy's" creator said.
Want more theories? Head on to the "Five Nights at Freddy's" Reddit page to tide you over until the game is finally released in Autumn.
