iPhone 8 Rumors, Specs: Apple Teases For 2017 Release Date With Design, Hardware Upgrades; Facial Recognition, Eye Scanner Expected
Dheeraj RWith all the rumors about Apple's next device, iPhone 7, few reports teasing iPhone 8 are also trending all over the Internet. The release date of the eighth installment of the smartphone is expected to happen in 2017 on the device's 10th anniversary.
PC Advisor reported that Apple will release the new iPhone 8 with exceptional specs and features next year, which would not be visible in the upcoming iPhone 7 models. The 2017 smartphone is expected to be a combination of excellent design and hardware changes exclusive only for the device.
The rumors reports suggest that the most-anticipated iPhone 8 would sport all-glass casing and wireless charging functionalities, which are considered to be quite unique for the smartphone-savvy world. 9 to 5 MAC reported that the device with the glass body i.e. glass on the front and back of the device is rumored to be a highly updated version of the iPhone 4S.
There are reports that Apple has reserved radical changes for their Anniversary device with features like edge-to-edge OLED screen, no physical home screen button, and Touch ID fingerprint scanners. Techno Buffalo reported that the OLED display technology would make the iPhone 8 device thinner and power-efficient with better color reproduction skills as compared to the earlier iPhones.
Furthermore, there are rumors that the Apple iPhone 8 will sport an A11 processor and biometric features for facial recognition and iris scanning.
Meanwhile, Express reported that the upcoming iPhone 7 would not consist of any new features for the Apple customers. The device is rumored to sport few minor design changes, apart from which it would be similar to other iPhones.
There are reports that iPhone 7 will consist of a dual-lens camera setup and reduced antenna banding. It is also expected to be deprived of the headphone jack. It is rumored that if the iPhone 7 will still feature the headphone port, then it would most probably be not visible in the next year's iPhone 8.
The iPhone 7 is expected to be launched in September 2016 in three variants i.e. iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 7 Pro.
