Microsoft recently teased its upcoming platform Xbox One Scorpio at the E3 Gaming event. Reports claimed that the gaming console will sport additional specs to give a tough competition to all the current platforms available in the market.

Gaming Bolt reported that the Xbox One Scorpio will feature 4K resolution support to make the gaming experience even more interesting for the players. The news about the so-called 4K improved functionality was revealed by Microsoft Xbox head Phil Spencer in an interview.

Reports stated that the 4K boost will be provided by AMD's new range of octa-core processor, which will amplify the power efficiency of the Xbox One Scorpio. The Week claimed that this AMD technology will ensure that players can access the up to date game visuals without downloading further software or updates. This would enable them to have superior in-game frame rates with an enhanced graphics card of 6TFLOPs power.

Furthermore, the upcoming installment of Microsoft's gaming device is expected to sport a sleeker and thinner build compared to its huge predecessor. Segment Next reported that the Xbox One Scorpio will be made available with 320 GB per second memory bandwidth.

The Xbox One Scorpio will amplify the capabilities of other platforms from the Xbox range. Value Walk reported that future games might be designed exclusively for the Scorpio gaming console.

With all the rumors about the new console from the technology giant, the release date of Xbox One Scorpio will reportedly happen in mid-2017. However, Microsoft has not provided any official statement about the release date.

Moreover, the company also has not confirmed anything about the probable pricing of the device. Some rumors hinted that the Xbox One Scorpio might be priced for $600 as it would feature some improved functionalities.
