MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, Rumors: Apple To Launch Laptop Soon After Sales Declined? Intel Skylake Processor, Stronger Battery Expected
Jenia GraciaAs rumors about the MacBook Pro 2016 release date continue to make headlines, some reports have alleged that it may take a while before Apple would finally make it available.
At the start of this year, many fans of the laptop from the American tech giant were notably excited since several reports have pointed out a June 2016 availability. However, it did not happen.
It can be recalled that last month, Apple conducted its World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) and everyone appeared to have waited for the special announcement about the MacBook Pro 2016 release date.
To their dismay, no updates or any details about the upgraded model was ever made.
As consumers continue to clamor for its release, a new report has hinted that Apple must be prepared with the unit soon because of one major reason.
According to Neurogadget, Apple sales have dropped by 8.3 percent, something that should motivate the company to already announce the MacBook Pro 2016 release date.
Meanwhile, the report suggested that the new Pro model will be available by October this year, shortly after the release of iPhone 7.
When it comes to the upcoming laptop's specs, the tech site dished that it will come with a retina display with 2304 x 1440 resolution available in 11-inch and 15-inch screen.
With the anticipated Intel Skylake processor, the MacBook Pro 2016 rumors claimed that its battery life will be greatly improved. This can only be validated, though, with its release date.
In the meantime, MacWorld UK revealed that there has been a dip in Apple's Mac range shipments, which can really be linked to the continued waiting game for MacBook Pro.
The report noted that as fans await the MacBook Pro 2016 release date, shipment of Apple PCs worldwide during the second quarter of 2016 was only at 4.4, compared to 4.8 million during the same period last year.
