‘Fast and Furious 8’ Cast and Updates: Paul Walker’s ‘Stolen’ Car Collection Returned?

Paul Walker will no longer be part of the "Fast and Furious 8" cast but his name is still hogging the headlines - for quite unflattering reasons.

This, after Walker's estate filed a case against a worker named Richard Taylor who allegedly pulled out without anyone's consent about 30 cars owned by the deceased actor from a warehouse only a day after his untimely death, according to The Drive

The case, which was filed last year, sought monetary compensation for the total value of the vehicles that were supposed "illegally" taken by the suspect.

However, in a surprising turn of events last week, the Los Angeles Supreme Court released a resolution dismissing the case against Taylor, a development which is expected to bring relief to Paul Walker's family and "Fast and Furious 8" cast members.

"It was settled amicably and one of the conditions is that we're getting things back," said an attorney for the Walker family who spoke briefly about the suit.

The "Bricks Mansion" actor is known as an avid car collector who has kept more than two dozen cars and trucks in a Valencia, California warehouse where Taylor worked.

His impressive car collection includes a 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a 2008 BMW M3, a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria, a 2004 GMC truck, three 1995 M3s, and many others.

In the meantime, production is in full swing for the cast of "Fast and Furious 8," and its director Gary Gray has released a new "Fast Friday" video featuring the amazing cars Dominic Toretto and his team of speedsters will be using in the latest installment of the series, Coming Soon reported.

According to ComingSoon, "Fast 8," which is set to premiere on April 14, 2017, will actually be the first in a trilogy, to be followed by "Fast 8" on April 19, 2019, and "Fast 10" on April 2, 2021.

The "Fast and Furious 8" cast includes its franchise regulars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Nathalie Emmanuel and Lucas Black who will reprise their roles as street racers--turned-super-secret agents.
