MacBook Pro 2016 Rumors: Apple Laptop Not Getting The Kaby Lake? Delay In Release Date Intentional?
Jenia GraciaIs there a possibility that the MacBook Pro 2016 will no longer get the Kaby Lake processor from Intel? Let us take a look at the latest rumors.
For months now, consumers have already been expecting that the seventh generation processor will already be incorporated in the upcoming upgraded model of the MacBook Po, especially that several tech sites have already been suggesting about it.
However, a recent report hinted that the first delivery of Kaby Lake to manufactures will not likely be allocated to the new laptop model from the American tech giant yet.
The latest MacBook Pro 2016 rumors from Apple Insider revealed that while it appeared to be a verified report, the name of the companies where they were delivered and the quantity provided for them were unknown.
With the possibility that the said delivery might not be intended for Apple's MacBook Pro, the report pointed out that it was just the "first run of chips," as the more powerful options will only be made available at a later date.
With Kaby Lake being the seventh generation processor from Intel, it is expected to be packed with awesome features, just what the previous MacBook Pro 2016 rumors have already suggested.
One of the powerful features of the new processor is that it uses the same 14nm process as Skylake, its predecessor, but adds native USB 3.1 Generation 2 support, bringing full 10 Gbps speeds to the protocol.
Meanwhile, Mac World UK reported that based on what Apple blogger John Gruber has already speculated, the company may have opted to release the new MacBook Pro intentionally.
The recent MacBook Pro 2016 delay can be attributed to the tech giant's desire to release it along with another highly-anticipated gadget - the iPhone 7 - which will reportedly have a different audio set-up that no longer uses an audio jack, but instead a lighting-for-audio cable.
