Tesla Model 3 Preview: Everything You Need To Know

According to the release date rumors, the latest car model is expected to be made available by the end of 2017 and around 400,000 people have reportedly booked it. Below, we have jotted down few points, which will give you a preview of the new Tesla model specs and what has made it so desirable.
Stuff reported that the the Tesla Model 3 will feature a sleek design with a compact structure compared to the company's other cars. Even though the car is reported to be compact, it is expected to be comfortable owing to its inner design. Reports claimed that the front seats of the car will be closer to the dashboard providing more leg space to the people in the back.
Also, the Tesla Model 3 is expected to sport autopilot feature with 5-star safety ratings in every category. It is stated that the car will have a floating screen without a physical gauge cluster. In addition, the Model 3 is rumored to consist of a high-tech head-up display will present battery charge, speed and navigation status to the driver.
Furthermore, Digital Trends reported that the Model 3 will be powered by advanced lithium ion batteries and all-electric powertrain. However, it might also have a solar-powered roof with solar panels on the top for additional charging functionality. There are reports that the new car will also deliver 215-mile range to the customers when it is fully charged.
Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal reported that the company recently started a huge Giga factory in Nevada in order to roll out more fleet of cars and thus meet up with the heavy customer demand for Tesla Model 3. The company is expected to start shipping in December 2017 for the US customers and in 2018 for the customers in UK and Europe. The latest update also hinted that the delivery schedule might also be stretched to early 2019 in case of production lagging issues.
The Tesla Model 3 will be cheaper in comparison to other models with a starting price of US $35,000.
