George Clooney Amal Alamuddin Rumors: Human Rights Lawyer Moving To Fashion?

George Clooney's wife Amal Alamuddin is reportedly giving up her successful career as a high profile Human Rights lawyer to pursue a career in the fashion industry.

The 38-year-old lawyer has always had an impeccable taste in clothing and has gained attention with her celebrity status labeling her as "Kim Kardashian with a  law degree".

In fact, many are claiming that Alamuddin's fashion sense is perhaps better than Kim Kardashian.

It has also been reported that Peter Copping, director of Oscar de la Ranta, was very impressed with her style and offered her to become a co-consultanty position of the fashion line.

"Amal has long been obsessed with clothes, but she never considered working in the fashion industry," a source explained, according to Hofmag. "Since finding herself in the spotlight, she's collaborated with designers who have created custom-made pieces, and had a very hands-on role."

Amal Alamuddin recently acknowledged all the attention she has been receiving from the fashion houses. She also mentioned that aside from law, designing is also her passion, but she hasn't decided yet when she will give up her profession to become a stylist.

"She's love to develop these working relationships further but doesn't want it to distract from her day job at Doughty Street Chambers. Her life is already one huge balancing act," the source continued, making it clear that Amal Alamuddin's lifestyle is hectic as it is.

Although designing a couple of gowns for her events doesn't seem to distract the lawyer from her job, giving something up where she has both professional and hands on experience might not be the best decision at this stage.

It is yet to be seen if Amal Alamuddin will take up the offer of Copping, but one thing's for sure - fans love her dressing sense and personality despite her career choice.
