Is Nintendo NX With NVIDIA Power Going To Be Better Than PS4 And Xbox One?

As Nintendo upcoming console the Nintendo NX is about to come out, speculations, rumors, and leaks keep coming out. Many of them, fortunately, are well-founded and Sony and Microsoft may need to up their games with what's to come.

Over the weekend, Forbes reported that the leaks regarding the hardware specs of Nintendo NX are about to blow away current generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony. However, they did claim that it is to be taken as a grain of salt.

It is no rocket science to any consumer or company of how Wii U performed in the console wars. Some reports and speculations even led to the belief that Nintendo is losing the console race with how the Wii U failed to outperform the competition.

Now, with the Nintendo NX, things are starting to get interesting as the hardware may sport NVIDIA Tegra platform power. A mock concept of the Nintendo NX started making rounds all over the internet and it did show promise.

Everybody is now aware that the Nintendo NX is going to be a handheld hybrid console. Just like the Wii U, but with more focus on the portability rather than being a console that has a tablet for a controller and needs to glue players near a T.V set.

Portability aside, the Nintendo NX's more interesting feature is the inclusion NVIDIA Shield's capability. Fans now speculate that it may be possible to actually get Nintendo back in the "game" with NVIDIA's Tegra X1. Even with the age, X1 can deliver quality gaming to Nintendo.

If all these are going to actually happen, the Nintendo NX might have a fighting chance, even with the likes of Microsoft's Scorpio or Sony's Neo. However, one function might be sacrificed with this major hardware change.

Moving to an entirely different chip like the Tegra may greatly pose a challenge in integrating backwards compatibility, which the Wii U and the original Wii didn't have problems with.

Keep checking with us as we see and wait if this would, in fact, bring Nintendo back to the top in every gamers' list.
