'Just Cause 3' Review: Third DLC 'Bavarium Sea Heist' Felt Empty And Could Be A Game Breaker

The third DLC pack called "Bavarium Sea Heist" seems to be not making things better for "Just Cause 3" as the reviews suggested.

The game "Just Cause 3" isn't exactly bad as some may think and it actually has a variety of missions and a well-written story. Prior review before the DLCs actually indicated that the game is pretty much fun, except when playing on consoles where there are some few performance issues and dragging loading times.

"Bavarium Sea Heist" is the game's third, and probably, the last DLC for the game, and it seems like it is a bit lackluster according to a number of reviews on YouTube and even Destructoid.

Just like the first two DLCs, "Bavarium Sea Heist" provides players an area to liberate, which wouldn't even take more than 2 - 3 hours to complete and also give players access to a new interesting gun and a standard boat with some few bells and whistles.

The travel between point A to point B on the seas may seem a bit boring as there's literally nothing to do unless the players pass by some random civilians to shoot at or getting themselves tailed by enemies.

For players who have already cleared the game, which is very likely for most who already got the game, the additional boat and eDen Spark wouldn't be put much to use, unless willing to start over as they may be handy.

Perhaps, to handy as these weapons make the game way too easy. The same case with the first two DLCs that took out the littlest challenge that the game has to offer, breaking it in the process.

It really depends on the players if the DLC is good or bad, but as the facts show, both the first two DLCs and "Bavarium Sea Heist" makes the game a bit brainless. That is not to say that the new eDen Spark is not an eye candy because it definitely is.

For those who got the Season Pass, the Sea Heist DLC isn't that bad of an addition, but it isn't exceptional either. Truth to be told, it isn't even that good, but if not for the eDen Spark, downloading the DLC wouldn't really be a nice idea.

"Bavarium Sea Heist" for "Just Cause 3" is already available for Season Pass holders and will be made available for non-Season Pass holders this coming August 18.
