As Mitsubishi introduced its 2017 Mirage G4 sedan model, many consumers have become curious on what the new vehicle can actually offer.

Based on initial reviews, what could be the highs and lows of the latest sedan variant of the Mirage G4 hatchback?

Did the highs outweigh the lows?

According to Andrew McCredie of Driving, it got a total score of 71 percent.

Specifically, the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan got a rating of 11 and 10 on a scale of 15 for value and drivability, respectively.

Meanwhile, it scored 9/10 for fuel economy, 8/10 for safety rating, 7/10 for quality and interior, 6/10 for performance and exterior, 4/5 for cargo and storage and 3/5 for tech and toys.

Overall, the car reviewer pointed out that it is a "cheap and cheerful transportation," with its pros mainly attributed to its "Well-appointed and excellent fuel economy."

It was also noted that in terms of value for money, it can be regarded as "very good."

However, the car review site   took note of its cons saying that the "Buzzy engine at highway speeds" is its main cons.

When it comes to what he would like to change in the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan variant, he said that it would "make the front seats more comfortable."

"The most striking difference between the sedan and the hatch, apart from the obvious silhouette, is the sedan's more conventional body style," McCredie wrote. "That allows for best-in-class rear seat room, with more legroom than its larger Lancer stablemate."

In the meantime, Car and Driver appeared to have agreed with what Driving stated.

Kevin A. Wilson shared that the highs of the new Mitsubishi model are its being "Fuel-efficient, stopping performance, inexpensive," while its lows are basically "Pretty much everything else."

"The sedan's wheelbase is 3.9 inches longer, most of which benefits space for the back-seat passengers, and the G4 is 20.7 inches longer overall, reflecting the addition of the trunk," he said about the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan model.
