'Pokémon GO' Guide: Foolproof Ways To Hatch Eggs Faster Without Walking For Hours

Jazz Rosin

Do you want to play "Pokémon GO" but you're too lazy to go out or move around?

Lazy people are said to be the most skillful when coming up with brilliant ideas to make their lives easier, and hatching those precious 10km eggs in "Pokémon GO" is no exception.

Here are some foolproof workarounds to hatch your eggs faster without walking around for hours on end.

Get A Roomba

Want to hatch your eggs in "Pokémon GO" and clean your carpet in one fell swoop? Then the iRobot Roomba 650 Vacuum Cleaning Robot is your perfect companion.

In most cases, a few purchases would need to be made to sustain the lazy lifestyle. The Roomba will both do the cleaning and the hatching for you.

Just start up the "Pokémon GO" app on your phone, place it on the Roomba and press "clean." In a few moments, you'll get a clean floor and Snorlax, fresh from a newly hatched 10km egg, if you're lucky.

Get On Your Bike / Treadmill (Or a Really Slow Moving Car)

Good news for runners and bikers! It looks like Niantic Labs has adjusted the top speed at which the game will register your travelled distance during its latest update.

According to Pokémon GO Hub, the developer may have made some adjustments to make hatching eggs a bit manageable. Based on the site's speed test, the app can register distance up to 12.5 mph.

That's almost the max speed for home treadmills. If you have one at home, you know what to do.

Alternatively, most casual cyclists go under that speed, so it's time to take out your bike, strap on your phone and start pedalling your way to that coveted Lapras

You can also ask a friend to get in the car and get them to drive you around really slowly. Just to clarify, it should be your friend who will drive, not you.

Get More Incubators

As you already know, the game gives you an Infinity Incubator for free at the beginning, but the more incubators you have, the more eggs you can hatch at the same time.

You can get more free Incubators in the game at certain levels, but each can only be used three times, so you may want to use those to hatch your precious 10km eggs, and put the 2km and 5km in the Infinity Incubator instead.

According to the Level rewards list via Eurogamer, you'll get a total of 13 3x Incubators in the game: One at levels 6, 10, 15 and 25, two at level 20, three at level 30, and four at level 40, which is the current level cap.

Alternatively, you can buy one at the cash shop if you have tons of Pokécoins to spare.
