According to the latest NBA trade rumors, the Oklahoma City Thunder team is reportedly planning to improve their roster to fill the void created by Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka's departure. Reports claimed that the OKC Thunder might bring in Philadelphia 76ers center player Jahlil Okafor.

Sports Rageous reported that in order to make the Okafor deal happen, the Thunder will give up their point guards Andre Roberson, Cameron Payne and future draft picks. It is stated that the OKC is aiming to build a strong frontcourt with their rumored best-fit option, Okafor.

Reports claimed that Okafor is expected to team up with other Thunder's star players like Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams to help the team to dominate other teams in the NBA league. Also, Okafor's excellent skills at both power forward and center position are expected to help the Thunder win a number of matches. The 20-year-old player has an average of 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game.

On the other hand, Fansided reported that the Philadelphia 76ers are keen on trading their center player as the recent trades of Ben Simmons, Dario Saric, and Joel Embiid has overcrowded their frontcourt. Reports claimed that adding Payne and Roberson will help the 76ers to solve their backcourt issues.

Furthermore, it is stated that the Roberson is a multi-talented player and possess excellent defensive skills. The NBA trade rumors hinted that he might even play in the frontcourt with center players Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid, which will further help the 76ers overall gameplay.

If this trade happens then it is expected to help both the teams to cater to their needs and thus improve their roster before the start of the upcoming NBA season. However, there is no official confirmation on the trade from 76ers and OKC Thunder.
