'Fallout 4: Nuka World DLC' Reviews: Amusement Park Adventure Ends Game With A Bang

The final DLC for post-apocalyptic adventure "Fallout 4," "Nuka-World," has just been released, capping the game's final run through the wasteland. Here are some of the reviews for the game's last expansion.

Attack of the Fanboy - 4 out of 5

While the new DLC "Nuka-World" is, according to Attack of the Fanboy, "a bit of a let down," there are still tons of interesting things to do in the new expansion.

The new DLC offers a huge new area to explore, dubbing it as "Fallout"'s very own version of Disneyland. Attack of the Fanboy noted however that there is nothing in the new DLC that has not been done in the series.

The DLC forces the character to be the leader of the Raiders at the end, which is not a very good choice especially for those who have followed the clean, honest path from the get go.

Overall, despite some hiccups, "Nuka-World" is a fine addition to the "Fallout 4" series. Check out Attack of the Fanboy's full review here.

Game Revolution - 4 out of 5

A DLC with a story that does not take itself seriously, "Nuka-World" is a "refreshing swill," and a celebration of all things Nuka-Cola. Game Revolution reports that the game may fall flat over time, but it "goes down sweet and is delightfully fizzy."

Each of the park's unique areas offers a questline designed to fit each world, like in Safari Adventure and Galactic Zone.

Bethesda chose to end "Fallout 4" on a humorous, light-hearted note, rather than gearing towards a heavily emotional storyline finale. It is worth taking this "world of refreshment" out for a spin. Read the full review of Game Revolution here.

iDigitalTimes - 5 out of 5

iDigitalTimes praised the final expansion as a great ending to the game, with "Nuka-World ending "Fallout 4" on a high note.

While the end mission chain is "a bit of a downer," there are tons of other features in "Nuka-World" that by the end of the day players would not even care about the quest at hand.

As per the review, "getting to explore all the hidden wonders of Nuka-World is some of the finest gaming Fallout 4 has to offer."
