Our comparison reports of the Apple iPhone 7 and the Galaxy Note 7 has revealed a battle between the two giants. The new iPhone sports excellent camera specs and the latest A10 chipset, whereas the Note 7 device is known for its Iris scanner, huge display, and excellent battery life.

Below we have mentioned all the specs and features of the two smartphones in order to help you choose the device worth your money and time. To start with, the iPhone 7 is touted to be slightly sleeker and lighter compared to the Note 7.  

In terms of display, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 excels with a 5.7-inch screen with Super AMOLED display 2560 X 1440 pixels resolution, while the Apple phone sports a 4.7-inch screen with IPS LCD display panel and 750 X 1334 pixels resolution.  

As far as the performance-related specs are concerned, the Note 7 is powered with the powerful Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 chipset, still depending on the different regions. It also consists of 4 GB RAM an 64 GB of internal storage option expandable up to 256 GB via micro SD card. On the other hand, the Apple device sports the latest A10 Fusion processor with 2 GB RAM and storage options of 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.

Both the high-end smartphones consist of the same 12-megapixel primary camera, but the Samsung phone features a 5-megapixel front camera whereas the Apple device has a 7-megapixel front shooter. When it comes to software specs, the Galaxy phone runs on the latest version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, whereas the iPhone 7 runs on the iOS 10 software.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 consists of an iris scanner along with a fingerprint sensor in order to provide you with added security measures. The iPhone 7, on the other hand, features a 3D Touch Home button and an IP67 water-resistant body. Both the devices are also different in terms of their life span as they have different battery capacities: the iPhone features a 1960 mAh non-removable battery while the Note 7 sports a powerful 3500 mAh non-removable battery.

As far as the price of the devices is concerned, the Samsung Note 7 is priced a bit higher with $870 compared to $649 of the iPhone 7. To conclude, it can be stated that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is one of the best buy options with its huge display, storage capacity, and security measures even though it is costlier than the iPhone 7.
