iPhone 7 Trade-In, Deals, Offers Update: Which Carrier To Opt For?
Dheeraj RApple recently launched its latest iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices at the IFA 2016 event in Berlin. Since then, many international carriers like AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile have started accepting preorders for the two and have brought to the table various trade-in offers to sell the 32 GB variant of iPhone 7.
Below we have jotted down all the offers provided by the carriers to help you choose the best iPhone 7 deals.
Verizon
If you want to buy the new Apple device, Verizon will help you to get $650 credit for the trade-in of the Apple's other phones, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s. Even if it seems like you will be able to receive the new phone just by exchanging your old device, there is a catch. The promotional offer from the Verizon is applicable only for the iPhone 7's 32 GB storage option regardless of which device you trade in.
Also, the trade can be possible if you accept Verizon's monthly installment payments option, after which the carrier will begin to credit your wireless account every two to three months for the next 24 months.
AT&T
Another carrier is AT&T, which will provide you a customized iPhone 7 plan. In order to buy the new Apple device, you will have to sign up for AT&T's Next program with a minimum plan of $50 per month. Then you will have to trade-in an old iPhone, which must be in good working condition.
Both the offers are quite tempting, and if you want to upgrade to the iPhone 8 next year, you can do so by making sure that you have paid 50 percent of the phone's cost, or a total of one out of two years of the payment condition. With the AT&T plan, you get a chance of having a new, higher end smartphone next year.
T-Mobile
The trade-in offer from T-Mobile is similar to the rest of the carriers as it also provides $650 credit for 32 GB iPhone 7 variant with monthly bills spread across two years. If the customers want extra storage option or an iPhone 7 Plus, then they can avail it by paying the difference in the amount. Also, if the iPhone users stop using T-Mobile's service, then they will have to pay the iPhone 7's full cost to the carrier's authorities.
Sprint
Last but not the least, the iPhone 7 offer from the Sprint carrier is more flexible as it allows customers to trade in even Samsung devices like the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge apart from the iPhone 6 or 6s phones. However, all the other credit rules and regulations for two year's period are similar to other carriers.
Morever, Sprint is also offering the iPhone 7 aspirants a separate $100 discount, which will bring down the total cost to $749. However, the only catch here is that this discount offer will be valid only during the preorder stage, and afterward until the supplies are exhausted.
