Blizzard has recently dropped an update for its first-person competitive shooter, "Overwatch."

The small update included a few tweaks in the user interface, with a new Competitive Tier legend added to the Competitive Play info screen. A new Match Complete screen has also been added to replace the former Round Complete splash screen in competitive matches.

One notable change is that players would be seeing less of Mercy's Resurrection ability in Plays of the Game, reducing the chances of it appearing. Payload speed has also been increased on Eichenwalde.

A handful of bugs were also fixed by the patch. Hanzo's disappearing arrow is now being taken care of, while a bug that prevents Junkrat's RIP-Tire from receiving credit for kills and other stats has now been fixed.

A small number of people were affected by a bug wherein they obtain a skill rating that's higher than their actual rating, and this has now been adjusted appropriately. The Triple kill announcement was also fixed, as there are some instances wherein the announcement does not play after a kill streak of three or more.

While this update is a welcome improvement in the game, Blizzard surely knows that this is not the update fans have been waiting for. As of press time, the highly anticipated new character Sombra is still nowhere to be found.

Most of the community has now gotten over the hype and excitement of the ARG's Blizzard has been showing, and are now asking the developer to just drop the games and release Sombra, or announce a release date at least

PC Gamer speculated that the much-awaited hero will finally be unveiled in early October. Blizzard has no official word on it at the moment, however, so fans would have to wait and see until Sombra finally arrives.

Stay tuned for more "Overwatch" updates.
