Part of the script for the much-anticipated film, "Star Wars: Episode 8," was leaked online, revealing the Supreme Leader Snoke's connection to the Jedi Master.

Recently, YouTube channel Star Wars Theory shared a video that claimed to have picked up a leaked page of "Star Wars: Episode 8" script. The video shows a specific scene where Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) finally found out Snoke's (Andy Serkis) hideout, having tailed him to a sanctuary where the latter is holding Rey (Daisy Ridley) captive.

Luke Skywalker's demeanor in the supposed scene is described as quiet and inquisitive, even despite a capable figure of the dark side - an evolution from the timid naïve Jedi that viewers saw in the original trilogy.

The scene then shifts to the Supreme Leader Snoke revealing that he used Rey merely as a snare to bait Luke Skywalker. The Supreme Leader then brought up the latter's infamous father, Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vader.

At the point when Luke Skywalker questions the Supreme Leader Snoke about how he knew him, the latter inauspiciously remarks, "What father does not know his own creation?"

If such claims turn out to be true, then there is a high chance that the Supreme Leader Snoke is actually Luke Skywalker's grandfather. After all, the biological father of Anakin Skywalker has never been revealed.

"Star Wars: Episode 8," which is currently in production, will pick up right where "Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens" left off. Previously, a Reddit user u/LouEvilOne posted a leaked plot details on a StarWarsLeaks Reddit page.

One of these leaked details is the movie's supposed title, "Star Wars: Echoes of the Dark Side," with the story presumably taking after three main plot threads. It reportedly centers on Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Finn (John Boyega) and Rey - all of which will merge in the movie's third act.

However, it is also worth noting that nothing has been confirmed yet as of this writing. Thus, the supposed leaked script and plot details should be taken with a grain of salt.

"Star Wars: Episode 8" is scheduled for release on Dec. 15, 2017. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
