"High School Musical 4" is hitting the big screen soon and it's definitely something to look forward to, especially if you were a big fan of the original series.

Now, rumors like Troy Bolton (Zack Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) to tie the knot in the upcoming movie surfaced online.

Previously, Disney Channel has announced that it's returning to East High for a new episode of the movie franchise, and this time, fans will not only be able to see the "High School Musical" sweethearts and meet the new wildcats, but also get to know the West High knights.

"'High School Musical' is part of Disney Channel's DNA," said Disney Channel President Gary Marsh. "It embodies all that we stand for. As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we're excited to announce 'the start of something new' as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth installment of the 'High School Musical' franchise."

While there were no exact details about a Troy-Gabriella wedding in "High School Musical 4," Troy is rumored to be the new basketball coach of the Wildcats and Gabriella will manage the Glee Club.

The movie is reportedly to draw attention to five new roles, namely, a soccer player, a punk dancer, a jock/theater geek who will be Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) and Ryan's (Lucas Gabreel) cousin, a cheerleader, and a former queen bee.

However, there are still no words as to whether Sharpay Evans and Ryan Evans will have their comeback in the movie.

The movie is said to be directed and choreographed by Jeffrey Hornaday, who also directed Disney Channel's "Teen Beach" and "Teen Beach 2." In addition, Peter Barsocchini is tasked to be the script writer together with Dan Berendsen.

Disney Channel has not yet given any official statement about the air date of "High School Musical 4" and the rumors about Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron's characters' wedding.
