Despite Jimmy Butler's name in the 2016-17 Chicago Bulls projected lineup, the latest NBA trade rumors hinted that there are high chances that the shooting guard might be traded to some other team in the league.

Sports Rageous reported that the Chicago Bulls might trade Butler before the start of the new season because of his issues with the team new head coach, Fred Hoiberg. According to the reports, the 27-year-old shooting guard recently had a heated argument with the coach, which has paved the way for the trade rumors.

Furthermore, it is also speculated that Butler has compatibility issues with the Bulls other top-ranked players like Dwyane Wade and Rajan Rondo. Reports claimed that this might affect the team's overall performance during the playoffs, thus indicating that the Bulls are looking forward to trading Butler before the start of the NBA season.

According to the trade rumors, Butler has high chances of ending up with Minnesota Timberwolves or the Boston Celtics. Should the Timberwolves enter into a trade deal with the Bulls, it is stated that Butler will reunite with his former coach, Tom Thibodeau, who recently parted ways with the Chicago team.

On the other hand, if Butler is traded to the Celtics, then he might provide the team with the needed defensive skillset and thus help to raise their overall rank in the NBA league.

Meanwhile, Heavy reported that Jimmy Butler is amongst the top three players in the Chicago Bulls lineup, besides Wade and Rondo. The other players who are projected to play for the Bulls are Taj Gibson and Robin Lopez whereas the list of the players who might be on the bench includes Isaiah Canaan, Nikola Mirotic, Denzel Valentine, Bobby Portis, and Tony Snell.

However, nothing has been officially confirmed by the Chicago Bulls yet, so the rumors should be considered with a grain of salt.
