'Total War: Warhammer' DLC To Be Revealed This Week? Dev Drops Hints On New DLC Update
J RoseCreative Assembly has dropped a few hints about what's in store for fans in the next major DLC update of turn-based strategy game "Total War: Warhammer."
Following the recent DLC Update "The Grim & The Grave," which provided a boost to Empire and Vampire Counts units, it looks like the Greenskins and Dwarfs will get the spotlight next, if a cryptic Twitter post is anything to go by.
Creative Assembly has posted a message on their official Twitter page, and a lot of fans of the game has speculated that this heavy hint points at a possible Greenskins and Dwarfs themed announcement.
"And for everyone else, who may be feeling a little green, don't worry if you've come up short - the week isn't quite over yet," the developers wrote on Twitter.
Following this tease, Creative Assembly has dropped yet another hint in a form of a "translated" letter they have intercepted. The said letter is addressed to a certain "Master Ironbrow," which is a reference to Dwarf Runelord Thorek Ironbrow, according to PC Invasion. The full text written on the letter is found below (via PC Invasion).
To Master Ironbrow,
The Angrund Clan is eternally in your debt for supporting Karak Azul over the past decade. As I call to clan and gather the throngs for my fourth attempt to retake King Lunn's Hold, your voice - along with the High King's - has been the loudest in favour. Where other, more cautious - I would vouch craven! - Guilds have even dared to suggest that the Peaks remain lost to the Karaz Ankor, your staunch support has shamed their objections to silence.
I will remember their opposition to this expedition, it will not be forgotten just as I will not forget my debt to you. As promised, should I recapture what is rightfully mine, then all of the secrets that have been hidden will be yours to scrutinise and for Azul to profit from.
The day draws near when we march forth. I make a promise now that I will not be undone this time by thaggoraki or that odious, little green grobi-kruti that dares call himself Warlord! An oath then, that next time I see you it will be in my halls, with me as host and King.
By Valaya's will.
The "Peaks" the letter is referring to is the Dwarf stronghold of Karak Eight Peaks, according to "Warhammer" lore.
While it is not clear who wrote the letter, the recipient and the mention of Eight Peaks is enough reason to conclude that "Total War: Warhammer" will be getting a roster update for Greenskins and Dwarfs in the next DLC, possibly new Legendary Lords for both factions, as well as Grombrindal the White Dwarf. Stay tuned for more updates.
