A lot of tech fans are waiting patiently for the Apple iPad Mini 5 to be released.
Previous reports say that highly-anticipated device will be launched on 2017 since the Apple is focusing more on their MacBook Pro, which is expected to come out within this year.
Macworld reported that there were no leaks suggesting a 2016 release for the much-awaited Apple tablet so it is expected that the new iPad Mini will make its way in March 2017.
However, latest rumors suggest that the existence of the iPad Mini 5 is hardly possible as the Plus versions of the iPhone products are gradually substituting the tablet.
Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo projected the plans of the Apple Company in the tablet section, however; he made no mention about the fortune of the 7.9-inch iPad Mini.
"We expect three new iPads (12.9" iPad Pro 2, new size 10.5" iPad Pro & low-cost 9.7" iPad) to be launched in 2017, though this may not drive shipment growth amid structural headwinds; 2017F shipments to fall 10-20% YoY," Kuo said, as reported by Macrumors.
In the middle of delays, Apple fans are still hoping for the launching of the iPad Mini 5. Some reports suggest that it will debut together with the iPad Pro 2.
In terms of features and specification, the tablet device is expected to sport a 7.9-inch Retina display similar to its predecessor with 7000-series aluminum chassis to make the tablet durable and robust.
It is said to be thinner at only 5mm compared to its predecessors and might come out with a Rose Gold color option.
It is rumored to feature an A9 or A10 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage capacity. It is also anticipated to be available with memory options of 64 GB and 128 GB.
The new tablet is likely to have a 3D Touch just like the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus and might feature an Apple's posh new stylus, TechAdvisor reported.
Similar to that of iPhone 7 which has ditched the traditional headphone connector, the upcoming iPad mini is also expected to feature the same.
Since Apple products have never created a device with detachable storage, the iPad Mini 5 is expected to come with an external miscroSD card slot.
With all these rumors circulating online, Apple is yet to give clear updates about the iPad Mini 5.
