"Divergent" lead stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley are rumored to be replaced in the next installment of the movie franchise since the onscreen couple are reportedly not in favor of the producer's suggestion to turn "Divergent: Ascendant" into a TV series.

It was said that Woodley expressed her disappointment on the conditions written in her contract and so with James who played the role of Four.

So far, it is still unknown if James and Woodley would reprise their roles as Lionsgate has no concrete plans for the last franchise yet.

"They haven't finalized any decisions, so it's actually a moot point to talk about it now, out of respect to Lionsgate and everyone involved," Cinema Blend quoted Woodley. "I'm not exactly sure where they stand so we are kind of all in a limbo game. I signed up to tell the whole story of Tris [the protagonist in the franchise based on Veronica Roth's novels], and I would love to be able to do that. Nothing would make me happier."

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old actress has been released from Morton Country Jail after being arrested for trespassing while protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. The "Fault In Our Stars" actress immediately posted a photo on her Instagram with a caption:

"[O]ne day, baby, we'll sing our poetry. the words dripping from our tongues wet with ripened patience. and the lyrics, the sweet fruits born from the seeds our aging hands are now sowing. #alwaysinallways #heartforward #uptous #NoDAPL #protectcleanwater #iamonyourside." 

However, it has been speculated that Ruth Kearney, the fiancée of Theo James is once again threatened and unhappy with Woodley's release as she wants Woodley to remain behind bars so she can keep James away from her. In addition, it was also rumored that the reports about James leaving the final installment of "Divergent" made Kearney joyful so James and Woodley's adorable chemistry on screen will finally be over. Kearney and James, then, could focus more on their wedding.

The "Golden Boy" star has been linked to Woodley as they both have a wonderful on and off screen chemistry.

Theo James and Shailene Woodley, along with Ruth Kearney, are yet to give their statement to clarify the above mentioned rumors.
