A close friend to the actor once told E! News that the Holmes and Foxx romance is certainly a lie.

"I have no knowledge of Jamie with Katie at all. I've never seen them together. He's never told me he's dating her," she said. "I don't have the knowledge of this being fact. I don't. I misspoke."

However, insiders of the same website said that their relationship is "not a secret among their friends." The two are just trying to make their relationship as private as possible.

Latest reports suggest that Kattie Holmes, 37, and Jamie Foxx, 48, are secretly getting married before Christmas Eve.

OK! Magazine also reported that the rumored couple will soon come out as an engaged couple and is planning to tie the knot soon. However, it was said that Holmes is afraid of her ex-husband, Tom Cruise's reaction.

"She's terrified," said an insider. "She's afraid that he'll be angry that Suri will have a new father figure and come crashing back into her and Suri's lives."

Earlier reports also suggest that the actress is pregnant with Foxx.

"They're both such great parents, and they've been talking about starting a family together for a while now. They added that fans should expect an announcement from the couple within in next couple months,"  a source closed to the rumored couple told Hollywood Life.

"They're slowly coming around to the idea of allowing their relationship to be known but they want to keep it private for as long as they can. They're so in love, and keeping it all quiet makes Katie that much more crazy about Jamie. She feels like she's hit gold with her new husband," the source added.
