Ever since the Google Pixel has been launched, many are pondering whether many flagships phones could now be challenged by Google. Today, we thought of comparing between the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Pixel, smartphones from two well-known brands.

When it comes to overall physical design, the Pixel is taller than the Samsung smartphone. However, the Galaxy S7 is wider and  denser. According to NDTV Gadgets,  the Korean tech giant's smartphone has a slightly sleeker design.

From the display perspective, Google Pixel sports a 5-inch AMOLED screen whereas Galaxy S7 sports a 5.1-inch AMOLED screen. The screen resolution and the pixel per inch, is higher for Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone.

Looking under the hoods, Google Pixel is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 whereas Samsung Galaxy S7 is powered by 1.6 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 according to Android Headlines. Google Pixel has a slight edge when it comes to having faster CPU speed, thanks to the latest processor.

The Pixel  smartphone comes with a  12.3 MP front camera and a 8 MP rear camera. The Samsung smartphone comes with a 12 MP  rear camera and a 5 MP rear camera. From the specs, the Google Pixel seems to have an edge over the Galaxy S7 model.

Although Google's own smartphone packs a decent battery capacity, it is slightly lower than what we have in the Samsung Galaxy. Unlike the Pixel smartphone, The Samsung smartphone has the option of expandable storage and supports expandable storage up to 200 GB. Among the two smartphones, Galaxy S7 is the only smartphone which supports Dual-SIM.
